DOHA MARRIOTT GULF HOTEL RENOVATION - Qatar

Design Development

Detailed design (targeting GSAS 3 stars) and supervision of construction for the upgrading and modernization of a 5 star business hotel consisting of 2 wings and located on a 6 ha site (total built-up area: 43,606 m²). The hotel comprises 362 guestrooms in 8 and 12-storey buildings in addition to restaurants, retail spaces, meeting areas, convention center and Spa/fitness area. The scope covered testing and strengthening schemes for almost all deficient structural elements, electromechanical and infrastructure services, parking, and other hotel facilities. Rigid pavement was used in this project.
