Deseign Development - (2013 - 2015)

Preparation of concept, preliminary and detailed designs for the streetscape works and stations of the new Riyadh BRT network. Works comprised re-arranging the BRT corridor sidewalks and set backs to create a pedestrian-friendly environment that is consistent with the vision of the new public transport system. The scope also included the design of 4 terminal stations, 55 in-line stations, 4 park-and-ride sites and pedestrian bridges along the routes. Project and contract management, and construction supervision for 90 km of BRT lines with 2 terminal stations and 70 in-line stations, 4 park-and-ride facilities, and a Transportation Control Centre (TCC) for the complete transport network, including the metro system.
